This marks the absolute final post about semlor for this season.
To finish things off we are looking at a semla from Tant Grön in Vintrosa. I would argue that they probably have the most fun and creative pastries in all of Örebro and the surrounding areas.
The whipped cream on this one is incredibly beautiful. It is perfectly smooth and fine, just the way it should be. The addition of candied almond on top is amazing and adds a really great touch.
Inside the bun the almond paste is lovely. It delivers a sweet and traditional taste with a good amount of cardamom. The texture is very interesting as it is almost completely homogeneous but still retains a nice crunch here and there.
Honestly I have to say that this might be the best semla I have ever eaten.
