Now it’s finally time to write about the Coffeevine’s February 18 box, in this post I will write a few short posts about each coffee, where the coffee roaster is from, where the coffee comes from and my expectations about the coffee itself.
1) Onyx Coffee Lab, USA.

Variety: Caturra, Bourbon
Farm: Aponte Village
Altitude: 2 100 meters above sea level.
Strawberry. floral honey, brown sugar & pie crust.
Expectation: It’s not often I get the chance to drink coffee from coffee roasters from the United States. So every time I get the chance, I have high demands. I like honey something so incredible so it really feels like it could be a hit.
2) Stow Coffee Roasters, Slovenia.

Variety: Arabica sl 28 sl 34
Altitude: 1 900 meters above sea level.
Grape, raspberry & caramel.
Expectation: I am very curious about this, as the coffee has a fantastic smell, I hope it tastes the same as it smells.
3) Don Gallo, Spain.
Personal cupping and recipe available 2018-03-09
Farm: Mormora Estate
Altitude: 1 900 – 2 000 meters above sea level.
Floral, strawberry, lime & chocolate.
Expectation: Also a spicy coffee. Spanish coffee makers are often included in The Coffeevine boxes, which will probably be around and everyday coffee.
Conclusion: This will be really exciting, I do not have a personal favorite right away. Of course, I claim Onyx Coffe Lab, but I still think 2) Stow Coffee Roasters or 3) Don Gallo will get a better result.
I do not know if I talked about it before, but a “Honey” process is much harder to make than “Natural” or, most simply, “Washed”.
