Day 5 – @Kafferaven Specialty Coffee Advent Calendar
Today we’re drinking a coffee from Honduras; it wasn’t that long ago I had a Honduras coffee from Kafferaven. That coffee was called Los Hermanos and was of the variety Catuai, flavors of dark chocolate. This coffee (Finca Selena) grows a bit higher and shares the same process.
I really love brewing with a pour over, so it’s really hard to do something different. But I do know that I love the taste of a pour over brew. So… I went with my loyal V60 in copper, and this brew came out perfect! I used the common 6 grams coffee per 100 grams water. In other words 18 grams to 300 grams water, this is also a way of making an Aeropress brew later as well hehe…
I got tart berries, soft mouth feel and dried fig. A lovely coffee from Honduras!
I hope you had an amazing coffee experience as well, see you tomorrow!
