Kafferaven – Advent Calendar – Day 4 – Origo

Day 4 – @Kafferaven Specialty Coffee Advent Calendar

So on special days in this calendar like today, the second of advent, we’ll be enjoying a guest coffee roaster instead of kafferaven. This is a great way of learning other roast profiles and how they can differ from each other, as a coffee drinker this could be a good exercise. And I guess that it’s nice for them as well to take a day off and ejoying another roasters coffee.

So there will be different guests roasters through this calendar. Today the guest is called Origo (@origo_coffee), it’s the first time I’ve tried their coffee and I’m very happy with how they chose to roast this lovely Geisha from Colombia. You can really feel that this natural processed coffee has been roasted in a gentle and precise way so it can keep its complexity.

I separated this in two brews, one with the @aeropress and one with the Hario V60 01 (the one server) and you can’t really go wrong to be honest. The complexity is there in both of them and that’s what I really love with this coffee.
