I’ve started experimenting with the Ninja Creami, and one of my all-time favorite cocktails is a frozen daiquiri; so for my first try, I went with passion fruit.
I used about 1 part frozen passion fruit cubes to 2 parts water, measured in grams. That came to roughly 50 g passion fruit and 100 g water, plus about 15 g sugar. Blended it all together, then froze for 24 hours.
When it was time to spin, I added fresh lime juice and light rum; about 5 cl rum and the juice of 1 lime (around 3 cl). Ran it on the “frozen drink” setting, and it came out beautifully smooth.
After tasting, I felt it needed a bit more sweetness. You can either add about 5 cl simple syrup, or do what I did use passion fruit syrup from Shake-It Mixer Passion Fruit for an extra fruity kick.
